Late 2007 issues provided step-by-step templates for creating a 2008 calendar using your images for each month, making your own holiday cards, and each issue tests products subjectively. Expensive? Yep. There's not a lot of advertising in the over-size magazine and the articles educate and inspire instead of pitch a product.
